Hyponatremia Due to Sodium Valproate Ann Neurol 43:265-267, Branten,A.J.W.,et al, 1998 See this aricle in Pubmed Article Abstract We conclude that sodium valproate can cause an SIADH-like syndrome with hyponatremia and that serum sodium levels have to be monitored during treatment with high dosages of this drug.
